HOW DO I BOOK A SPOT ON ONE OF YOUR RIDES?
You can book your spot one of two ways:
1) Online: Click on the ‘Book Now’ icon on any ride page and select the date you’re interested in, then complete the steps of the booking process.
2) Over the phone: Call us at 1–888-423‑7849 or +1–250-984‑8901 between 8:00 am — 5:00 pm Monday to Friday PST, we’ll be happy to assist you!
To secure your spot, you’ll need to put down a $500 deposit, with the balance payable 2 months prior to ride start date.
WHEN IS MY REMAINING BALANCE DUE?
Your balance is due 2 months (60 days) prior to your departure date.
I AM A SINGLE RIDER…IS THERE AN UP-CHARGE SINCE I AM ALONE AND NOT SHARING A ROOM?
We usually pair solo riders with someone else of the same gender. In the event that there is no one in the group to pair you up with, you will get your own room at no additional fee.
If you would like to be guaranteed your own private room for the duration of your trip, you can select the Single Room Upgrade option through the Add-Ons tabs for an additional fee. The Single Room Upgrade is available on most of our rides and prices vary depending on the destination.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN JOIN A RIDE?
We have a maximum of 12 riders on each departure. We have the best client:guide ratio (1:4) to ensure you can ride at your preferred pace, and to ensure you have an incredible trip.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
CANCELLATION BY YOU
You may cancel your reservation and get 100% of your money back within 14 days of booking. After that 2‑week window, our lifetime deposit policy comes into effect: if something unexpected comes up and you need to cancel your trip, get in touch with us — as long as you give us 60 days notice, your deposit will be good forever, whether you use it for the same trip at a later date, or any of our other trips. Contrary to most other travel companies, we won’t charge you a cancellation fee.
*If you need to cancel within 60 days of your scheduled departure, you will be forfeiting the full amount of your Ride, including your deposit. We therefore strongly urge you to purchase trip cancellation/ interruption insurance.
If an emergency occurs, and you need to depart the Sacred Rides trip early, we cannot provide any type of refund for leaving the trip early. We highly recommend you purchase trip interruption insurance to cover you for emergencies and unexpected travel costs, if needed.
CANCELLATIONS BY US
Once we have four riders confirmed on your departure — the trip is confirmed and our team will reach out to you at that time, so you can book flights.
‘ACTS OF GOD’, POLITICAL DISTURBANCES AND OTHER ISSUES AFFECTING TRIP DEPARTURE In very rare occasions, a situation arises beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other similar events that may affect our ability to deliver a safe and enjoyable trip. In this case, we consult extensively with our local staff to ascertain the possibility of running a safe trip. Our cancellation policy is as follows:- If our local staff feel the trip can go ahead without undue risk to our clients’ safety, then the trip will go ahead and if the customer decides to cancel then that is treated as a passenger cancellation.- If we feel it would be unsafe to run a trip as scheduled, then the trip is canceled and we give you a spot on another departure of the same trip, or a full credit to use towards any of our other trips. Please rest assured that your safety is our #1 concern, and we would not run a trip if we felt your safety would be compromised.
SOMETHING UNEXPECTED CAME UP, CAN I TRANSFER MY RIDE?
We understand that things outside of your control may come up between the moment you book your ride to its scheduled departure. That’s why we’re extra flexible, and make it easy for you to postpone a ride if something unexpected comes up. And unlike most other travel companies, we’ll never charge you any form of a cancellation fee.
We also realize that your preference for a destination may change over time. Our Lifetime Deposit enables you to transfer your deposit to any of our destinations. Simply get in touch with us – as long as you give us 60 days notice, your deposit will be good forever, whether you use it for the same trip or transfer it to another one.
We allow one complimentary transfer per booking. If you need to transfer your booking a second time (outside of the 60-day mark), there is a $250 USD transfer fee.
WHAT IS YOUR LIFETIME DEPOSIT POLICY?
Once booked, our Lifetime Deposit policy allows any client forced to delay a departure or wanting to switch destinations altogether, the ability to apply their initial deposit towards a later scheduled date or another ride at no extra charge. A Lifetime Deposit has no expiration date and can be used once for any departure – provided room is still available. Simply put, we want to ensure you can enjoy the Sacred Rides experience you want, at a time that works best for you. You can transfer your Lifetime Deposit up until 60 days before the ride start date of the initial ride you booked.
DO YOU HAVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TRAVEL INSURANCE?
Travel medical insurance is mandatory for all rides. We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation and interruption as well. If anything should happen to you before or during your trip, your investment will be covered. We cannot offer any refunds within 60 days of your departure date. Please note, there are many travel insurance companies you can choose from, please research what policies and companies align with the coverage you need. We Recommend the following companies.

- GLOBAL RESCUE (for U.S. most citizens)
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Yes, for the most part, we can accommodate dietary restrictions. Once booked, you can specify your food allergies and dietary restrictions with our team and our guides will plan accordingly.
CAN I BOOK EXTRA HOTEL NIGHTS THROUGH SACRED RIDES?
We only booked pre/post ride hotel rooms for our Treasures of the Himalaya ride in Nepal. Due to detailed trip logistics and traffic in Kathmandu, we recommend you arrive early and book pre/post-ride hotel nights.
For all other rides, we do not book pre/post ride hotel nights.
WILL I BE ABLE TO GET HELP REASSEMBLING MY BIKE WHEN I GET TO MY FINAL DESTINATION?
Yes! Our guides are prepared with the tools and knowledge to help you reassemble your bike and disassemble your bike at the end of the ride, so you can fly with peace of mind.
