There's gold in them hills.
In the late 1800s, early explorers in interior British Columbia discovered gold in the mountains near Rossland. A gold rush ensued, giving birth to the Dewdney Trail (which brought gold seekers from the U.S.) and a scattering of gold rush towns. The gold didn't last, but those explorers had the gracious foresight to leave some incredible mountain bike trails in their wake (thanks, eh), including the aforementioned Dewdney Trail, a beautiful, winding descent just above Rossland.
You'll find your own gold on our Ultimate BC trip - golden sunsets over spectacular vistas, the town of Golden and its incredible shuttle runs, that 'golden feeling' of completing the epic Seven Summits trail and its 6 hours of challenging alpine bliss.
This trip is for the true mountain bike nut - 13 days of riding our handpicked selection of interior British Columbia's best trails. Fernie and its massive trail network. Rossland and the Seven Summits. New Denver and remote, hidden trails. Revelstoke and its alpine classics. Golden and the spectacular Canyon Creek Trail.
Leave Whistler and the North Shore to the tourist hordes - interior BC has all the goods, with a tiny fraction of the crowds. On many of the trails we'll ride on this trip, we'll be the only ones out there, hooting and hollering and celebrating our own gold rush.
Come find your own gold in them hills...
